David Nichols is the owner of The David Nichols Group, a small real estate company affiliated with RE/MAX Realty Group in Gaithersburg. His practice emphasizes helping first-time homebuyers find affordable housing. He has received numerous awards and has been a frequent guest lecturer for the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission. David graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1992 with a B.A. in communications, and moved to Maryland in 1995 with his wife, Kerrie. He and Kerrie live in Gaithersburg with their two children, Hunter, 5, and Fayth, 1. In addition to spending time with his family, David enjoys fishing and canoeing the rivers and lakes of Maryland. He is an outdoor enthusiast who believes in balancing growth and environmental issues. David is a past election precinct chair for precint 9-11 in District 39. He served as an Election Judge during the 2002 elections. David is also a past Seneca Whetstone HOA board member and Treasurer.
